Being senior doesn't mean being abandoned!

Today I'll speak a little about what means taking care of the elderly people. Being old doesn't mean being useless, who just have to wait for the end of their life, who no longer need to take care about what they eat or drink for living, who are a burden to others. All this is what goes through the minds of many people and society itself let this to happen. If you have your elderly parents, do your best to be with them. As time pass by, with aging, physically and psychologically they are losing faculties. Even if the older tell you they do not need, you give them your attention because it helps a lot giving them the strength to go on living. Control and take care about what your elderly eat. The body with age has less defenses and they all require each of the food groups of the food table. So please, control them because their well being will be your peace of mind and you'll get your most restful awareness. Beware of diseases like colds. In addition to vaccine against flu, a balanced diet is required.

Do everything you can to help your elderly to have a good life, if they helped you while you were young you have the obligation to help them in this stage of their life.

Dry skin in winter

I'm taking care of my mother, who is already old , and I noticed a very dry skin and peeling. My mother is unreceptive to drink water, but I can make her drink half a liter of water (0.5 liters), it's better drink some water then none.
